  • ๐Ÿคก๐ŸŽช๐Ÿคน๐Ÿ’ฝ๐Ÿช‡ For the third year in a row I'm in love with the unique and living master of art and spectacle for kids and grown adults known as "La Compagnie Donin" / "Le Manรจge en chanteur" / Donin Spectacle.   • ๐ŸŽง The Bombo Podcast (food, art, design, creators) is worth listening to for french speaking audience and deserves that I speak about it especially if you prefer to listen to people interesting stories while relaxing rather than the usual "learn something new with this podcast".
  • ๐Ÿ‘š I've ordered a t-shirt that displays the cover of my favorite album of my favorite Metal band : Death Angel - Killing Season. I couldn't find it anywhere in EU so I had to order from US, and because of the trouble I had to order it a second time. This was such a mess I felt obligated to tell about it at The Shipping Never Ships.   • ๐ŸŽง๏ธ I'm replacing my Spotify with Navidrome (self hosted) which can also scrobble to my Last.fm profile. I'm close to delete my Spotify account because after removing all the non necessary songs from Spotify I'm left with only one album (Killing Season) from one band (Death Angel).
  • โ˜‘๏ธ Trying to get rid of my Trello archives by moving it all to a self hosted Trello alternative (Vikunja) but I'm struggling yet with the out of the box native Trello import integration... that seems broken.

๐Ÿฉบ Health and Sport and Well being

  • ๐Ÿง—๐ŸปI've stopped climbing since June 2023, after I broke my leg. For reasons (anxiety, laziness, habits) I struggle to go back. Since April 2024 I'm climbing again, mostly in a church in Brussels).
  • ๐Ÿšถ๐ŸปI walk and relax and chill rather than running.
  • ๐Ÿคซ I like to isolate myself from external noise and energy draining environments and people, I need time, quiet, calm and simple things. ร”, rather, I need a fewer things. I like to remove, destroy, throw away things that do not cause me stress to have them.
  • Paperwork/administrative work drains my energy. Instead I like to eliminate, minify, simplify. But there is so much paperwork beyond what I can manage it's something I struggle still with as freelancer.

Projects

  • ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป I'm coding a script to save time with the accounting/freelance paperwork. Thanks to Ponto (https://myponto.com) I could manage to obtain complete real-time bank accounts transaction in only a few minutes of scripting. Then, I needed also to extract my credit cards transactions which I retrieve monthly in PDF format, and I wrote a script for that too. With a few more steps (OCR of my scanned documents) I can likely manage to automate missing documents notifications, issues detection, and matching of transactions with documents.
  • ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป I'm coding a little game using Pygame and ChatGPT as an experimental helper requiring too much micromanagement yet it's teaching me about prompting skills.
  • I want to also propose this blog in French ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท.
  • I'm abusing ChatGPT to write user-scripts and make my user experience smooth on some websites.
  • ๐Ÿ’ฟ๏ธ I've a huge collection of CDs that I didn't hear in a long time and I'm looking for an affordable quality portable CD player so both I and my little one can enjoy my whole music library. Update March 2024: I've asked my step brother for quality CD players references as he's sound engineer and quite eclectic.

    • Or maybe I should just relax instead and keep watching movies.
